DoctoresRD is a doctor-search and online appointment-booking platform for the Dominican Republic. Patients search by specialty, name or distance from their location, filter by subspecialty, gender and languages spoken, review each doctor's profile (training, offices, languages, schedules) and book an appointment online. No phone calls, no waiting in line. Doctor profiles are reviewed before publishing, with a verified-license (exequátur) badge, and the site is fully bilingual. Beyond booking, DoctoresRD is also an EMR (electronic medical record): doctors write medical notes and prescriptions in it, and pharmacies and labs can use it too.

Hi, I'm Rafael. I live where math, data and software overlap. I like taking a messy problem, finding the structure hiding inside it, and turning that into something that actually works.
what makes me tick
Creating things genuinely makes me happy. Building something from nothing and watching it run for the first time is still my favorite feeling in the world, and it never gets old.
These days I run my own company, Mateo & Co., S.R.L., and do a bit of everything for clients: websites, web apps and AI integrations, plus my own products in between.
